KTU gives students an opportunity for earning credit for one course to qualify for the Engineering Degree called Contact Courses.

എന്താണ് കോഴ്സ് Incomplete?

എന്തെങ്കിലും കാരണവശാൽ ഒരു subject നു internal assessment ഒന്നും complete ചെയ്യാൻ പറ്റാതെ 'I' ഗ്രേഡ് കിട്ടിയാണ് ആ കോഴ്സ് complete ചെയ്യുന്നത് എങ്കിൽ ആണ് കോഴ്സ് Incomplete എന്ന് പറയുന്നത്...

Course Incomplete means getting 'I' Grade in Internal Assessment for a particular course which may be because of not completing all requirements for that course of study.

What is Contact Courses in KTU?

If a student has to earn credits only just for one course to qualify for the degree after completing eight semesters of study, the college concerned may offer a contact course on a written request by the student. The contact course is considered as fresh registration and is to be offered by the teacher concerned who shall conduct the internal evaluation procedures and allot the marks as per the regulations. Minimum contact hours for the course shall be 20. The final examination will be conducted by the college and shall be monitored by the external academic auditor. Question paper for the examination will be given by the Controller of Examination. No grade above C shall be given for a contact course.

Who are all eligible for Contact Courses?

 A student who has course incomplete for only course and need credit for only that course to qualify for the degree after completing eight semesters of study. 

How to apply for Contact courses?

Students should contact their college office and should register for the contact courses through the college portal in the specified time when KTU opens registration for the same.

Is there examination for Contact Courses?

Yes.  The teacher concerned will conduct 20 hours of contact class and internal evaluation procedures and allot the marks as per the regulations.  The final examination will be conducted by the college and the question paper for the same will be given by the Controller of Examination.

Grade for Contact Courses?

You can't get a grade above C.
